Store Manager

Role Overview Responsible for managing store operations, including staffing, training, inventory, merchandising, and customer service to ensure efficient store performance and a positive shopping experience. Key Responsibilities Recruit, select, train, evaluate, and retain qualified employees, ensuring proper staffing and compliance with labor laws. Conduct performance reviews, address gaps, and recommend pay adjustments and advancements. Maintain store safety, security, cleanliness, and organization, including opening and closing procedures. Analyze operating statements to identify trends, control expenses, and minimize shrinkage. Oversee inventory management, ordering, stocking, and presentation of merchandise. Ensure cashier accountability, cash handling accuracy, and adherence to financial controls. Lead with a focus on customer service, safety, and policy compliance. Complete necessary documentation and communicate effectively with staff and management. Qualifications & Skills Ability to interpret documents, perform basic math, and operate cash registers and inventory systems. Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of retail merchandising, safety, and cash handling procedures. Preferred high school diploma and management experience in retail. Ability to lift up to 55 pounds, stand and walk frequently, and operate store equipment. Bilingual skills may be preferred in certain locations.
