In this position, you will play a crucial role in supporting our recruitment team and ensuring a smooth and efficient hiring process. This role involves coordinating all aspects of the recruitment process, from scheduling interviews to managing candidate communications. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about helping us attract top talent. You will be responsible for managing the pipeline of candidates for a small but growing space technology company. This is a multifaceted job that requires both excellent organizational skills and the ability to understand and promote the core culture of a startup. Recruiting activities will include university relations, planning or participation in local events, managing online postings, logistics for CesiumAstro staff and candidates, and front-line screening of candidates. You will work closely with Talent Acquisition and HR staff to develop and execute hiring plans and projects. The ideal candidate is extremely organized, articulate, quick to grasp business needs, a team player, an excellent written and oral communicator, and eager to learn. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and CesiumAstro staff, ensuring a positive experience for all parties. Manage job postings on various platforms, including the company website and external job boards. This will include drafting job postings and other recruitment-related materials as well as posting and maintaining job listings on state job boards in alignment with Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS) with candidate information and status updates. Communicate with candidates throughout the recruitment process, providing timely updates and feedback. Support the onboarding process by conducting pre-employment background checks, drug screens, and coordinating start dates. Pull reports on recruitment metrics through our ATS, Lever. Coordinate internship program in partnership with Human Resources. Collaborate with the recruitment team on candidate experience. JOB REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Associate's degree or equivalent relevant experience. Minimum of 3 years of experience in recruiting or related business administration. A bachelor's degree will count as 2 years experience. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc., and familiarity with ATS systems (Lever preferred). Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. A positive attitude, team-oriented, and a passion for recruitment. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. A high level of integrity and respect for confidentiality. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE Passion for the space industry. Experience working in a start-up or small company.
