General Ledger Accountant

Senior Accountant System One is seeking an Senior Accountant to perform a variety of accounting functions under the direction of the Controller. This role supports general ledger activities, month-end close, and financial reporting while working cross-functionally with internal teams and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger Execute monthly closing entries and assist with the close process Perform monthly balance sheet account reconciliations and analysis Prepare bank reconciliations Assist in reviewing and improving month-end close procedures Review supporting schedules to ensure accuracy and compliance Support year-end audit activities Assist with additional projects as assigned Qualifications: Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability Ability to maintain composure under pressure Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Accounting required Previous accounting experience preferred System One, and its subsidiaries including Joul and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
