Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Every Other Weekend

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Cardiac Stepdown unit managing diagnoses including chest pain, NSTEMI/STEMI, AMI, AFib, CHF, bradycardia, SVT/tachycardia, and related cardiac conditions
• Support and monitor patients undergoing or recovering from procedures such as left/right heart catheterization, TEE, cardioversion, stress testing, pacemaker placement, and AICD insertion
• Float within the facility and within scope of practice as needed
• Adhere to all unit protocols, compliance requirements, and orientation schedules
• Work assigned major holidays as required per contract terms

Required Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN license or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cardiac Stepdown or comparable unit
• First-time travelers are not eligible for this position
• All requested time off (RTO) must be finalized at time of submission — no RTO or schedule requests will be accepted post-offer or after start
• Full compliance with onboarding requirements must be completed by the Tuesday prior to start date; delays may result in a two-week pushback due to bi-weekly orientation scheduling
• Local candidates are welcome and accepted at the same rate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with cardiac monitoring and interpretation of arrhythmias
• Familiarity with post-procedural cardiac care (cath lab recovery, pacemaker/AICD management)
• Prior travel nursing experience in a cardiac setting
