Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Every Other Weekend

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for cardiac stepdown patients with diagnoses including chest pain, NSTEMI/STEMI, AMI, AFib, CHF, bradycardia, and SVT/tachycardia
• Support and monitor patients undergoing or recovering from procedures such as left/right heart catheterization, TEE, cardioversion, stress tests, pacemaker placement, and AICD insertion
• Float within the facility and within scope of practice as needed
• Adhere to all holiday scheduling expectations; travelers are expected to work major holidays that fall within their assignment period per facility policy
• Complete all required onboarding compliance documents and orientation modules within designated deadlines

Required Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN license or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of cardiac stepdown experience required; first-time travelers are not accepted for this position
• All requested time off (RTO) must be finalized at time of submission — no RTO or schedule requests will be accepted post-offer or during the assignment
• No RTO may be requested during orientation week (Monday–Sunday)
• Maximum of 7 days RTO per contract
• Full compliance with onboarding requirements must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing; all compliance documents are due the Tuesday prior to start
• Local candidates are welcome and accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with cardiac monitoring, telemetry interpretation, and post-procedural cardiac care
• Familiarity with pacemaker and AICD management in a stepdown or progressive care setting
• Strong adaptability and ability to float within a facility environment as needed
