Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up Mill-turn machines, checking parts, coaching other machinists, and performing some programming at the machine. This is a direct placement opportunity available on night shift or weekend days. Successful candidates must maintain low scrap rates and be familiar with various CNC control systems.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Mill-turn machines.

• Check and inspect parts for quality assurance.

• Coach and mentor other machinists.

• Perform programming tasks directly at the machine.

• Ensure low scrap rates and efficiency in operations.

• Understand and work with different CNC control systems.

Essential Skills

• Experience with Mill-Turn machines.

• Proficient in machining, including mill, lathe, and CNC operations.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and perform basic calculations.

• Familiarity with hand-held measuring tools, CMM, VCMM, and GD&T.

• Advanced programming skills at the controller.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $66560.00 - $113100.00/yr.
