Overview

We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our food production team in Monticello for first shift operations. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic manufacturing environment focused on high-quality food processing. The ideal candidate will be committed to maintaining safety standards, adhering to food safety regulations, and supporting efficient production processes. Prior experience in food handling, kitchen work, or manufacturing is highly valued, along with a strong work ethic and a team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Operate food production machinery safely and efficiently, following standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols.
• Assist in food processing, including handling ingredients according to quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas in compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) requirements.
• Use material handling equipment.
• Perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting ( 50 pounds repetitively) while adhering to safety guidelines.
• Follow all regulatory and legal compliance standards related to food safety management and manufacturing practices.
• Use personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly at all times to ensure personal and team safety.
• Apply basic math skills for measurements, portioning, and quality control checks.
• Assist with inventory management by accurately handling materials and supplies.

Experience

• Previous experience in food production, manufacturing, or culinary environments such as restaurants or kitchens is preferred.
• Familiarity with food industry standards including GMP, and safety protocol adherence.
• Knowledge of machine operation, mechanical troubleshooting, and basic maintenance is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of food safety practices including sanitation, proper food handling, and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to perform manual tasks involving heavy lifting safely.
• Demonstrated ability to follow detailed instructions while maintaining efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
