Assignment Length: 13 weeks (90 days) Start Date: September 8, 2025 End Date: December 7, 2025 Shift: 8-hour day shifts (8:00 AM – 3:30 PM) Hours per Week: 40 Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend Float Requirement: As needed within wound care nursing skillset Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse Estimated Weekly Salary: $2020 - $2170 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Michigan or compact state BLS certification required Minimum 1 year of recent wound care nursing experience Previous travel nursing experience preferred Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills Ability to float to other hospital units as needed within wound care or clinical support roles Wound Care Nurse Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive wound care assessment, planning, and interventions for patients in a hospital setting Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans Monitor wound healing progress, document outcomes, and adjust treatment protocols as necessary Educate patients and families on wound care management, prevention, and best practices Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with hospital standards Float to other units as required, providing clinical support and wound care expertise Apply now to join our Detroit healthcare team as a Travel Registered Nurse – Wound Care and take the next step in your nursing career!
