Job Summary: RK Chevrolet, a leading automotive dealership in Virginia Beach, Virginia, is seeking a skilled and experienced Medium Duty Commercial Truck Technician to join our team on a full-time, commission plus bonuses basis. Medium Duty Commercial Truck Technician Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain medium duty commercial trucks
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
• Use diagnostic tools and procedures to identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues
• Communicate with service advisors to provide updates on repairs and timelines
• Keep a clean and organized work area
• Maintain knowledge of current automotive technology and repair techniques
• Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations
• Complete all required training and certifications

Medium Duty Commercial Truck Technician Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a medium duty commercial truck technician
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Certification from an accredited automotive technician program is preferred
