URBN Inbound Traffic Lead

Shift: Monday - Friday 5:30a to 2p

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist Leadership team with day-to-day functions in assigned department.
• Gather and analyze delivery request data to properly manage work on the dock.
• Direct trailers to specific dock doors based on information provided by carrier.
• Communicate with CP and Ops team to help influence daily goals and plans in coordination with department SLA.
• Partner with Loss Prevention team and the Yard Jockeys to ensure accuracy around trailer check ins and check outs
• Ensuring carrier compliance within delivery windows
• Managing our on yard inventory to maintain SLA on trailer inventory and prioritizing carrier loads according to business standards.

• Maintain a positive attitude and flexibility in completing projects and/or changing business priorities
• Research department specific questions from other areas of the company, including Contact Center, Home Office, and the Brands
• Abide by and enforce SLA compliance in designated department
• Maintain high level, proactive communication utilizing radios, slack and emails
• Perform department specific tasks as assigned by Supervisor/Manager
• Must be able to work overtime as required
• All other duties assigned by Supervisor/Manager

Knowledge, Experience & Skills Required:

• High school degree or GED required
• Professional written and verbal communication
• Ability to work continuously on a computer
• Problem solving and reporting skills
• Strong computer skills

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to manipulate a keyboard for extended periods of time
• Climb, balance, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Ability to use a computer for extended periods of time
• Lift freight and other objects of various shapes, sizes and weights up to 55 pounds
• Operate warehouse equipment as required for position (i.e. forklift, pallet jack, cherry picker) which requires coordinated movements
