As a Security Officer - Part Time Evenings in Newport KY you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Part-Time Security Officer you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Learn more: As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal you will monitor and patrol a dynamic public-facing location helping to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols support access control and badge processes respond to concerns and deliver outstanding customer service. Use computer or tablet systems to document activities while embodying our agile reliable innovative caring team-focused and integrity-driven values.

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients visitors and/or tenants by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property including common areas parking areas entrances and perimeter locations while reporting unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location to help deter unauthorized access trespassing theft and/or other policy violations.
• Prepare clear accurate reports of incidents observations and daily activities in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
