PURPOSE:

This role is responsible for leading Godiva’s eCommerce and digital commerce strategy and team, with accountability for approximately $35 million in revenue, driving revenue growth, profitability, and customer engagement across both direct-to-consumer and business-to-business channels. The role partners closely with regional sales, marketing, CRM, and social media teams to deliver a seamless digital customer experience, expand online distribution, strengthen partnerships with key digital platforms, and enhance overall brand visibility.

The position owns end-to-end channel performance, including sales growth, profitability, promotional planning, analytics, and digital optimization. It also champions a digital-first mindset to support Godiva’s long-term business objectives.

This role reports to the Sales Lead and is based in the White Plains office, following a hybrid work schedule.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND DELIVERABLES:

• Lead and execute Godiva's eCommerce and digital commerce strategy, delivering a seamless, premium customer experience across regions, channels, platforms, and key marketplace partners, including Amazon, Target Plus, and other strategic digital retail accounts.
• Drive revenue, profitability, and market penetration by growing B2C and B2B digital sales, digitally enabling sales across the organization, optimizing Godiva.com, and expanding strategic eCommerce, marketplace, and omnichannel partnerships.
• Own the eCommerce P&L, commercial performance, and key business metrics, ensuring achievement of sales, profit, growth, customer acquisition, and digital channel objectives.
• Lead the development and expansion of marketplace and third-party retail partnerships, maximizing brand visibility, customer acquisition, and revenue growth through channels such as Amazon, Target Plus, and emerging digital commerce platforms.
• Build out and scale corporate sales for the eCommerce business, identifying new growth opportunities across gifting, corporate programs, business partnerships, and B2B customer segments.
• Lead digital merchandising, promotional planning, and product launches while enhancing site functionality, conversion, customer engagement, and brand storytelling to drive traffic and sales performance.
• Partner with Marketing, CRM, Social Media, Communications, and Sales teams to deliver an integrated omnichannel strategy that strengthens customer loyalty, supports business development initiatives, and maintains brand consistency.
• Develop and manage strategic relationships with digital partners, marketplaces, and technology vendors, including negotiating commercial agreements to maximize channel performance, profitability, and long-term growth.
• Leverage analytics, customer insights, and performance data to optimize site performance, digital marketing effectiveness, marketplace execution, inventory management, and overall business results.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and development to the eCommerce team, fostering a high-performance, collaborative, and customer-centric culture while building organizational digital capabilities and digitally enabling sales across the broader commercial organization.
• Championing a digital-first mindset by driving innovation, best practices, and continuous improvement in digital tools, platforms, marketplace capabilities, and customer experiences aligned with Godiva's strategic growth objectives.
  

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Proven track record of driving revenue growth, profitability, and customer acquisition through digital channels.
• Experience owning and managing eCommerce P&Ls and delivering against sales, margin, and growth targets.
• Demonstrated success developing and executing digital commerce strategies across multiple channels and customer segments.
• Strong understanding of eCommerce platforms, digital technologies, analytics, SEO, conversion optimization, and A/B testing.
• Experience using data and customer insights to drive decision-making and improve commercial performance.
• Strong financial and commercial acumen, including forecasting, budgeting, and business planning.
• Proven people leadership experience with a track record of building, developing, and leading high-performing teams.
• Strategic and customer-focused leader with strong communication, influencing, and cross-functional collaboration skills
  

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Digital Commerce, or a related field required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 8–12+ years of progressive experience in eCommerce, digital commerce, omnichannel retail, or related commercial leadership roles within CPG, consumer goods, or retail.

ADDITIONAL JOB DETAILS:

Base starting salary ranges from $200,000 - $290,000 per year. The base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. This role is also eligible for an annual incentive opportunity, awarded based on individual and company performance.
