Production Associate, Biologics
LGC Group
LGC Group seeks a Production Associate to manufacture competent cells for biologics product lines in Middleton, Wisconsin. The role involves cell preparation, quality control, documentation, and support for process improvements within an ISO 13485 quality system.
Responsibilities
- Manufacture electrocompetent and chemically competent cells according to established procedures
- Perform quality control testing and analysis on completed cell batches
- Process, record, and analyze manufacturing data following approved protocols
- Support process improvements, investigations, and corrective/preventative actions through studies and protocol work
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality Assurance and Warehousing to meet production targets
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 2+ years laboratory experience with biological materials and equipment
- Proficiency with standard lab equipment (pH meters, pipettes, conductivity meters)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Ability to learn and implement new technologies and technical processes
- Current U.S. work authorization; no visa sponsorship available
- Bachelor's degree in life sciences preferred (molecular biology, microbiology, biochemistry)
