Regional Sales Manager Industrial Equipment

The Regional Sales Manager- Industrial Equipment is responsible for driving sales growth, developing strategic customer relationships, and expanding market share within a defined multi-state region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial equipment sales, preferably with experience in vacuum systems, or environmental equipment.

Key responsibilities include managing and growing sales within the assigned region through direct customer contact, distributor support, and strategic account development. The role also involves developing and executing a regional sales plan aligned with corporate goals and revenue targets, identifying and engaging new customers, markets, and applications for Hi-Vac equipment and services, providing technical support and product presentations to prospective and existing customers, partnering with product management, engineering, and service teams to ensure customer satisfaction and effective solutions, maintaining accurate sales forecasts, territory activity reports, and CRM updates, representing Hi-Vac at trade shows, industry events, and customer sites, and providing market intelligence and competitive feedback to internal teams.

Qualifications include a bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience), minimum 5 years of proven success in B2B industrial equipment sales; experience in vacuum systems, hydro-excavators, or similar heavy-duty equipment preferred, strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand and explain mechanical systems, excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, a self-starter with the ability to work independently and travel 5070% of the time within the region, and proficiency with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred attributes include existing relationships with contractors, municipalities, and industrial service providers, experience working with dealer/distributor networks, and knowledge of industrial cleaning, environmental remediation, or construction equipment industries.
