Leading the delivery of Aboriginal heritage projects from inception through to completion, ensuring quality, timeliness and budget controls Building and maintaining respectful working relationships with Traditional Owners, Aboriginal organisations, clients and regulators. Interpreting Western Australian Aboriginal heritage legislation, policy and guidance to provide clear and defensible advice. Preparing high‑quality technical reports, statutory documentation and client‑facing deliverables. Mentoring and supporting junior and mid‑level heritage staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive team culture. Contributing to proposals, tenders and business development activities, helping to secure new work and strengthen client relationships. Working closely with planners, environmental scientists, engineers and other specialists to deliver integrated, multidisciplinary outcomes. Representing Urbis in professional forums, stakeholder meetings and industry discussions. Managing workload and project performance with accountability, contributing to the financial health of the team. About you Tertiary qualifications in Archaeology, Anthropology or a closely related discipline. 7+ years' professional experience in Aboriginal heritage consulting, preferably within Western Australia. Applicable Government or proponent based experience will also be considered favourably. Sound commercial awareness, with experience contributing to proposals, client management and business development. Comfortable working independently and as part of multidisciplinary project teams. A strong commitment to ethical practice, cultural respect and continual improvement in Aboriginal heritage management. Why Urbis?
