The company has built a strong reputation for providing construction and development services across a diverse portfolio that includes restaurants, retail spaces, fitness centers, commercial interiors, hospitality projects, and office environments.Your new roleDue to continued growth, our client is looking to add 1–2 Estimators to their team based in Prince Georges County, Maryland.The successful candidate will play a key role in the preconstruction process, working closely with project managers, subcontractors, vendors, and executive leadership to develop competitive and accurate pricing for restaurant construction projects. You will be responsible for preparing detailed quantity take-offs and completing bid proposals, reviewing drawings, specifications, and contract documents, soliciting and evaluating subcontractor and supplier pricing across all trade divisions, developing conceptual budgets and hard bid estimates, participating in scope reviews and subcontractor negotiations, and maintaining subcontractor and vendor relationships throughout the bidding processWhat you'll need to succeed5+ years of estimating experience within a GC commercial construction environmentStrong knowledge of all major trade divisionsExperience pricing restaurant projects highly preferredStrong understanding of construction means and methodsExcellent communication and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneouslyProficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office SuiteWhat you'll get in returnBase Salary: $110,000 to $125,000Annual Performance Bonus14 days PTO for employees with less than 5 years of service.
