Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) | San Marcos, California

Your role will focus on behavior management, skill development, emotional regulation, and promoting autonomy in daily life. You'll collaborate with a supervising BCBA and dedicated residential staff to create a safe and supportive space for growth.


Key Responsibilities:

• Implement individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) consistently and reliably
• Deliver direct ABA-based support throughout daily routines and community outings
• Accurately collect data on targeted behaviors and skill acquisition milestones
• Utilize approved crisis prevention and de-escalation strategies as needed
• Assist with functional life skills such as hygiene, communication, and daily living
• Maintain clear, professional documentation and uphold confidentiality requirements
• Foster a safe, structured, and supportive environment within the group home

Qualifications:

• Current, active RBT certification
• Demonstrated experience with individuals exhibiting high behavioral needs
• Solid grasp of ABA principles and behavior reduction strategies
• Comfortable with crisis prevention and intervention
• Professional, patient, and reliable
• Strong collaboration and communication skills

Schedule:

• Approximately 15 hours per week
• Flexible scheduling options (afternoons, evenings, or weekends per client needs)
• Consistent 1:1 assignment with the same individual
