164. Special Situations Senior Analyst, Credit Investment Desk

Our client, an active credit investment desk in NYC, wants to add Senior Analysts to their successful team. The desk invests across sectors and a variety of credit strategies (special situations, stressed/distressed, high yield, emerging markets, and investment grade) and occasionally, equity. Our client has a robust and unique risk taking business along with a strong market making presence. The ideal Senior Analyst will have deep fundamental investment skills and a background that includes long/short and stressed/distressed experience. Candidates need the ability to generate actionable investment ideas across the public and private markets. This is a generalist role that requires the ability to shift sectors based on the current opportunity set. To be successful, the Senior Analyst should be detail-oriented and adept with the restructuring process. Candidates need to demonstrate mature judgment and a skeptical nature. The role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate effectively, along with excellent time management skills.
