Position Summary

As a Service Advisor, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring a seamless service experience from vehicle check-in through delivery while maintaining clear communication with customers and the service team.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet every customer promptly and professionally upon arrival.
• Listen to and accurately document customer concerns on repair orders.
• Prepare repair orders with clear, detailed descriptions of requested repairs.
• Provide accurate repair estimates, explain recommended services, and establish realistic completion times.
• Obtain customer authorization before performing repairs or additional work.
• Update customers regarding repair progress, estimate changes, and revised completion times.
• Process extended service contract repairs, including obtaining required authorizations.
• Obtain management approval for internal repairs when required.
• Utilize dealership pricing guidelines to ensure accurate estimates.
• Monitor repair progress throughout the day and maintain communication with technicians.
• Remain visible and accessible in the service drive to assist customers and team members.
• Contact customers when repairs are complete and ensure all scheduled customers receive updates before the end of each day.
• Work collaboratively with fellow Service Advisors and the service team to provide an exceptional customer experience.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive Service Advisor experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Dealertrack experience is a plus.
