Clinical Scope & High-Acuity Patient Care

You will step into a specialized pediatric critical care setting managing patients from infancy through early adulthood (up to age 25):

• Neuro & Epilepsy Specialty Care: Manage, monitor, and evaluate patients undergoing continuous video-EEG and complex long-term epilepsy monitoring protocols.
• Hemodynamics & Inotrope Mastery: Independently titrate and manage continuous vasoactive infusions and cardiac inotropes (e.g., epinephrine, milrinone, dopamine).
• Cardiac & EKG Surveillance: Maintain continuous 5-lead EKG tracking, rapidly identifying and managing complex dysrhythmias in pediatric and adolescent profiles.
• Broad Developmental Spectrum: Adapt clinical assessments across a wide age matrix—from infants with acute respiratory/neurological distress to young adult patients with chronic pediatric conditions.

What You Must Bring to the Unit

• Licensure Hard Stop: Active, unrestricted Ohio RN License OR Compact State License must be active and completely in-hand at the time of submission.
• Certification Stack: Mandatory AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and AHA PALS certifications. (NIHSS certification is highly preferred).
• Core Competencies: Proven experience managing pediatric continuous telemetry/EKG, inotropic drips, continuous video-EEG/epilepsy protocols, and acute pediatric deterioration.
