Job Description \n Med Ninjas is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Los Angeles, California. Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: ED - Emergency Department \n Discipline: RN \n Start Date: ASAP \n Duration: 9 weeks \n 36 hours per week \n Shift: 12 hours, nights \n Employment Type: Travel \n \n Job Requirements: Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred. Experience: Acute care facility experience preferred. \n Licensure: Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice required. Facility: specific BLS certification from an approved vendor per AH policy required. Certifications: \n Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor, as per AH policy, required. Job Summary: \n Provides coordinated nursing care to individual patients or assigned patient groups in accordance with established standards and the nursing process. \n Supervises and directs activities of assigned nursing staff at various levels. \n Coordinates patient care with other healthcare disciplines and professionals. \n Utilizes critical thinking, professional judgment, and supervisory discretion in patient care. \n Ensures delivery of care meets quality and safety standards. \n Maintains patient records and documentation as per policy. \n Participates in staff training, development, and performance evaluations. \n Responds to emergencies and provides life-saving interventions as needed. \n Med Ninjas Job ID 14886.
