Travel RN - NICU

Location: Denver, CO

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 7 PM to 7 AM

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Travel RN specializing in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) to join our team. The RN will be responsible for high-level patient care, collaboration with other healthcare professionals, and maintaining a safe and efficient unit environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide care for critically ill neonates in a Level 3 NICU setting.
• Administer medications and perform medical procedures as needed, including intubation and arterial blood draws.
• Participate in high-risk deliveries and collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams.
• Utilize advanced equipment such as oscillators, vents, and telemedicine technologies.
• Maintain clear communication with staff, patients, and families to ensure quality care and support.
• Document patient care activities accurately in the EMR system (Meditech).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 1 year of current acute care hospital NICU RN experience.
• BLS and NRP certifications are required.
• Experience in a Level III or IV NICU is mandatory.
