Phlebotomist

LabCorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Mishawaka, Indiana. Work Schedule Monday - Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm and every other Saturday 8:00 am – 12:00 pm. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other diagnostics. Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner. Process billing information and collect payments as necessary. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. One year or more of phlebotomy experience. Preferred Qualifications Two years or more of phlebotomy experience in an outpatient lab environment. Additional Job Standards In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency. Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Reliable transportation. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test. Sign‑On Bonus $1,000 sign‑on bonus for external candidates only. PST Incentive Plan Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.
