Job Title

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Travel Contract

Deming, New Mexico

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Weekends | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide cardiopulmonary services following protocols approved by medical staff and department policies for both inpatients and outpatients
• Assist physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures, including intubations and insertion of arterial lines
• Deliver medicated aerosols via medical compressed gas and maintain patient airways
• Manage mechanical ventilators and perform blood gas analysis
• Conduct pulmonary function studies and cardiac and pulmonary stress tests
• Operate independently as the sole therapist on duty during the night shift

Required Qualifications

• Active New Mexico Respiratory Therapist (RT) License
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
• Minimum of 2 years of critical care experience
• Prior travel assignment experience required
• Must not be a local candidate; travel candidates only

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working independently in a low-staffing or sole-therapist environment
• Familiarity with a broad range of respiratory diagnostic and therapeutic modalities
