Registered Nurse - Long Term Acute Care

Job Summary The LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse holds shift accountability for providing care to patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and Hospital policy and procedures. The Registered Nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment and leadership in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care; maintains clinical competencies through continuing education; delegates patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of the staff available; provides direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care. Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care utilizing the Nursing Process. Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in anticipating and planning for safe care delivery. Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education. Delegate patient care priorities based on the education and experience of available staff. Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care. Schedule / Shift Per Diem: RN LTAC Days Required Qualifications New Jersey RN or multi‑state RN license Experience 2 years recent LTAC experience in a hospital setting Critical care experience Ventilator experience Tracheostomy care experience Certifications BLS (American Heart Association) ACLS (American Heart Association) Skills Registered Nursing Critical Care Ventilator Management Tracheostomy Care Patient Assessment Care Planning Delegation Supervision Unit / Specialty LTAC / Telemetry #J-18808-Ljbffr Compunnel, Inc.
