Carl Sandburg Shift Availability 12-Hour Shifts Available Day Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM Night Shift: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM Full-Time and Part-Time opportunities. Compensation & Bonuses Hiring Bonus – Ask facility for details during interview Attendance Bonus $500 Referral Bonus – Refer a friend and earn $500 Job Summary Allure of Lake Storey is seeking compassionate and dedicated RNs and LPNs to join our skilled nursing team. You will provide direct nursing care to residents while supervising Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to ensure high-quality, resident-centered care in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care according to physician orders and individualized care plans Supervise and support CNAs during assigned shifts Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately Monitor resident conditions and promptly report changes Complete and maintain accurate nursing documentation Assist with resident admissions, transfers, and discharges Ensure resident privacy, dignity, and HIPAA compliance Perform skilled nursing procedures including wound care, catheter care, tube feedings, and IV site care as needed (RN scope for IVs) Promote a calm, respectful, and safe care environment Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Current, unencumbered Illinois RN or LPN license CPR Certification required Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills Long-term care experience preferred, but not required Benefits & Perks Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance 401(k) with 3% company match Disability Insurance Paid Time Off (PTO) Referral Bonus Program Tuition Reimbursement / Tuition Assistance Opportunities for growth and advancement Supportive team environment Physical Requirements Ability to move throughout the workday Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry at least 25 pounds Ability to manage the mental and emotional demands of the role May assist with resident evacuation during emergency situations Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
