Location: 100% Onsite in Phoenix, AZ
Full Time / Salaried Role
Exciting opportunity as Corporate Staff Accountant joining a highly successful luxury resorts and development group. The Corporate Staff Accountant collaborates closely with the Finance and Accounting Team to manage financial documentation, conduct reconciliations, and facilitate month-end closing procedures. The Corporate Staff Accountant serves as the primary liaison for the corporate VP of Finance and Accounting, providing vital support to project teams and ensuring adherence to company policies.
- Assist project teams in monitoring budgets, preparing budget adjustments, and managing AR/AP activities.
- Ensure compliance with regulations by tracking and securing necessary construction lien releases.
- Handle data entry tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Contribute to month-end closing activities, including reconciliations and financial reporting.
- Support the 1099 process and assist in budget planning for projects.
- Examine financial records, prepare statements, and analyze financial reports.
- Implement new processes to enhance financial efficiency.
- Manage project billing and reconciliation, including vendor invoice processing.
- Maintain consultant files and assist with project-related documentation in Excel, Sage or other platforms.
- Complete special projects and other assigned duties as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Preferably 2+ years of experience in accounting or a related field.
- Self-motivated with excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Strong work ethic and ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Covers 100% Medical/Dental (50% for dependents)
