Copy & Paste the link below!**** Detroit Aggregate is looking for a Diesel Mechanic to perform maintenance on our fleet of Class 8 trucks and construction equipment. What Detroit Aggregate Offers:
- Starting Pay: $35/Hour
- Monday - Friday:
- Shift 1: 4:00 PM to 2:00 AM or Shift 2: 6:00 PM to 4:00 AM

- Year Round Work! Responsibilities Include:
- Use of service vehicle for off site road calls when needed
- Repair diesel trucks, trailers and heavy equipment in a timely and efficient manner
- Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings and other important parts to ensure that they are in proper working condition
- Perform routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries and lubricating equipment and machinery
- Repairing and troubleshooting of major components such as engine, transmission, and differentials
- Tire repair
- Landing gear repair
- Job Requirements:
- 1 year of experience
- Basic set of tools
- Experience working on hydraulics, concrete mixer trucks, gravel train equipment and diesel trucks
- Experience working on heavy equipment such as loaders and excavators
