Director, Global Security - REMOTE USA

Danaher seeks a Director of Global Security to lead enterprise security strategy and operations protecting employees, facilities, and assets across global regions. This fully remote role manages physical security, crisis response, executive protection, and risk management for a diagnostics company operating in 15+ countries.

Responsibilities

• Identify, assess, and prioritize global security risks and develop threat management strategies
• Establish security policies, standards, and operating models aligned with business priorities
• Standardize site security risk assessments and oversee physical security systems globally
• Support crisis management, incident response, and business continuity for major events
• Define executive protection and travel security programs with real-time support capabilities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or related field
• 20+ years of experience in security, law enforcement, military, intelligence, or corporate risk
• 10+ years of leadership experience managing teams and enterprise-level security programs
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
• Ability to travel 40-60% including internationally
• Master's degree or advanced certifications (CPP, PSP, PCI) preferred
• Experience with executive protection and travel risk programs preferred

Compensation: $200,000-$215,000 base plus eligible bonus/incentive pay
