The Opportunity We are looking for a Hedge Fund Selection Manager to join our buy-side investment platform. This role is ideal for an investment professional with around 5 years of experience in hedge fund research, manager selection, or alternative investments, and a strong understanding of leading mainstream hedge funds across global markets. You will play a key role in identifying, evaluating, and monitoring external hedge fund managers, while helping translate institutional-quality research into platform-ready investment ideas for private wealth portfolios. Key Responsibilities Conduct research on leading hedge funds across strategies including long/short equity, macro, multi-strategy, event-driven, relative value, and credit Evaluate fund managers based on investment philosophy, team quality, track record, portfolio construction, and risk management Support investment due diligence, manager meetings, analysis, and recommendation materials Monitor approved managers on an ongoing basis, including performance, style consistency, team developments, and key risk events Partner with internal investment, product, and advisory teams to support hedge fund platform selection and positioning Contribute to portfolio construction discussions and broader alternatives platform development What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Economics, Business, Mathematics, or a related field Around 5 years of relevant experience in hedge fund research, manager selection, fund of funds, alternatives, private banking, or wealth management investing Strong familiarity with leading global hedge funds and the institutional alternatives landscape Solid experience in qualitative and quantitative manager due diligence Strong analytical, writing, and presentation skills Fluent English and Chinese If you are excited by hedge fund research, manager selection, and building high-conviction alternatives exposure within a wealth management platform, we would love to hear from you. #J-18808-Ljbffr Olive Asset Management
