Your Role

• Design Individualized Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and craft personalized therapy strategies that guide them toward achieving their functional aspirations
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based practices to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and everyday living tasks
• Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work hand-in-hand with OTs, PTs, STs, doctors, and nursing staff to provide holistic care that addresses all aspects of health
• Educate Patients and Families: Guide patients and their families in therapy practices to promote ongoing recovery at home
• Track and Adjust Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and make necessary adjustments to treatment to ensure patients continue on the path to success

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Opportunities for ongoing education and additional certifications are both encouraged and supported

Certifications

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license in good standing
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification required
