Our healthcare partner in Salida, CO is seeking a passionate professional to join their team on a travel assignment. With a rotating schedule that includes some call, weekends, and holidays, this role offers an exciting opportunity to expand your expertise and impact patient care.

As a Registered Respiratory Therapist, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional respiratory care to patients. Your responsibilities will include:

• Performing and collecting diagnostic information such as Pulmonary Function testing, Pad Net, sleep studies, and both noninvasive and invasive diagnostic procedures.
• Conducting blood gas and other pertinent laboratory analyses.
• Accurately assessing patients through physical examinations and diagnostic data interpretations.
• Applying therapeutic respiratory care including medical gas therapy, humidity therapy, aerosol therapy, artificial airway management, and mechanical ventilation.
• Assessing reactions and results of therapeutic interventions in a timely manner.
• Participating in discharge planning and case management.
• Engaging in public education activities to promote cardiopulmonary wellness.
• Attending all mandatory safety in-services, department meetings, and selected in-services.

Requirements for this role include:

• Certification or registry from an accredited college or technical school.
• Must maintain a current, active license as a Respiratory Therapist in the State of Colorado.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required.
• Need 2 years experience in setting.
