We are currently recruiting for the following positions: Civil Designer/Drafter We have an immediate opening for an experienced Civil Designer/Drafter to support our Survey and Civil Design staff. Preparation of base maps from field survey data for a variety of survey and civil projects Preparation of plans and specifications for private and municipal projects Civil design work under the supervision of a Registered Professional Engineer Collaboration with Project Managers and project stakeholders Adherence to, and assistance in the development and improvement of company CADD Standards Utility research and coordination Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of progressive, directly related work experience Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D required. Experience with concrete/asphalt construction and/or underground utility installation preferred. Prior inspection experience and ability to read blueprints is a plus, and this is an excellent opportunity for former construction or utility company employees. Valid driver’s license Ability to work in varying weather conditions Ability to stand / walk for extended periods on and over uneven ground Ability to kneel, bend and lift / carry up to 25 lbs Chief Surveyor/Survey Manager We have an immediate full‑time opening for an experienced Chief Surveyor/Survey Manager to lead our Survey Department in our Cleveland, Ohio area office. This is an entry level position on a field survey crew with opportunities for advancement. Land Surveying experience or a Land Surveying educational background is preferred but not required. We will train the right candidate. Qualified candidates must demonstrate a willingness to learn and take direction, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work as part of a team or independently. The position requires physical activity such as walking long distances, crouching, lifting, stretching, and standing for long durations.
