Work with a dedicated team in a supportive environment, making a meaningful difference in the lives of vulnerable infants.Quick Facts:Location: 850 West Baraga Avenue, Marquette, MI 49855Start Date: 08/05/2026Duration: Ongoing, with initial dates through 08/19/2026, 10-14 days/monthShift: 6am-6pm in-facility, on-call 6pm-6am (24-hour coverage)Hours/Week: Approximately 50-70 hoursEmployment Type: Travel / LocumLicensure/Certifications: Board certification in Neonatology preferred, Board eligible candidates considered, NRP certification requiredExperience: At least 2 years of neonatal ICU experience; advanced skills in intubation, chest tube placement, central line placement, paracentesis, spinal taps, exchange transfusions, thermal cooling, ventilator management including oscillators and iNOPay & Benefits:Pay Rate: $1.00/hour (please note, actual pay packages discussed upon application)Benefits include:Weekly pay via direct depositComprehensive medical benefits (W-2)Paid sick time per applicable lawsRobust referral bonus programLicensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable24/7 dedicated team committed to your successWhat You'll Do:Provide specialized neonatal care to infants with conditions such as RDS, pulmonary hypertension, sepsis, seizures, VLBW, NAS, and stabilizing surgical cases for transportPerform advanced procedures including intubation, chest tube placement, central line insertions, spinal taps, and exchange transfusionsManage ventilators, including oscillators and iNO therapyCollaborate with multidisciplinary team members such as RNs, RTs, pediatric specialists, and external consultantsSupport the care and stabilization of infants in a Level III NICU settingDocument clinical activities in Cerner EHR accurately and timelyWhat You Need:Valid neonatal or family nurse practitioner licenseNRP certification requiredMinimum of 2 years NICU experienceProficiency in advanced neonatal procedures and ventilator managementStrong communication and teamwork skillsAbout the Assignment: This Level III NICU has been serving the Marquette community since the early 1970s.
