Step into a fulfilling contract position dedicated to supporting students’ communication skills and growth in a dynamic school environment. As a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), you’ll work on-site throughout the academic year, making a meaningful difference for students in need of direct speech services. This role is set to begin early August 2026 and runs through the end of May 2027, offering consistent, full-time hours in a supportive educational setting.

Qualifications:

• Current, active SLPA licensure in Florida through the Department of Health
• At least two years of SLPA experience, with a minimum of six months in a school-based setting
• Familiarity with school protocols and ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams
• Must be able to complete Florida school district fingerprinting and AHCA Clearinghouse requirements
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language support to a traditional caseload of students
• Follow plans developed by supervising SLPs and contribute to student progress monitoring
• Document services and maintain up-to-date records accurately and promptly
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to maximize student outcomes
• Engage with school-based professional development and team meetings
• Serve one primary school site, with assignment details finalized at placement
