Lead Transmission Line Engineer

Seeking a Lead Transmission Line Engineer (11+ years experience) to serve as the technical authority for complex, mega-scale EHV overhead transmission projects.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership: Serve as "Responsible Charge" for multi-disciplinary teams and establish project work plans.
Technical: Perform complex calculations and equipment research specifically for EHV overhead transmission lines.
Client Management: Identify client drivers, manage project changes, and support business development efforts.
Operations: Oversee project budgets, schedules, and quality requirements.
People Leadership: Lead hiring, discipline, and technical reviews for subordinate engineering staff.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited program.
Experience: 11+ years in power delivery/transmission with specific expertise in EHV overhead lines.
Compliance: Must pass pre-employment background, drug, and motor vehicle record screenings.

Preferred Skills

Licensure: Professional Engineer (P.E.) license highly preferred.
Software: Mastery of PLS-CADD, line routing, and structural/foundation design.
EPC Knowledge: Experience with EPC/design services for U.S. investor-owned utilities.
Project Lifecycle: Advanced knowledge of permitting, land acquisition, and subcontract administration.
