Senior Estimator

Blayze Group is partnering with a well‑established concrete contractor to appoint an experienced Estimator / Project Manager to support major commercial concrete projects across the Austin market, with current projects reaching around $80M in value. The Role Estimate, price, and negotiate structural concrete scopes for commercial, data center, warehouse, industrial, and large-scale vertical construction projects Prepare full bid packages, proposals, takeoffs, supplier pricing evaluations, and scope reviews Issue invitations to bid and coordinate pricing from suppliers, vendors, and supporting providers Submit RFIs during the bid process and manage client communication around project information, addenda, and bid requirements Review drawings, specifications, schedules, and contract documents to identify scope gaps, risk, and constructability items Lead awarded projects from estimating handoff through final completion and closeout Manage project planning, scheduling, resource allocation, cost control, and project financial performance Coordinate project teams, suppliers, field operations, and client representatives to keep work moving safely and efficiently Maintain accountability for project profit and loss, quality standards, documentation, and overall execution Background Sought 5+ years of experience in structural concrete estimating and project management Strong experience with commercial concrete scopes such as foundations, slabs, tilt wall, structural concrete, paving, embeds, rebar, and large concrete packages Experience on commercial, warehouse, industrial, data center, manufacturing, or large-scale concrete projects preferred Background working for a concrete subcontractor or self-performing concrete contractor strongly preferred Able to manage both estimating and project delivery responsibilities Confident reading drawings, specifications, schedules, and construction documents Experience with On‑Screen Takeoff, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Strong communication, organization, urgency, and problem‑solving skills Commercially aware, detail-focused, and comfortable being accountable for cost, schedule, and project performance Why This Opportunity This is a strong opportunity to join a major concrete contractor with a respected name in the market, a stable project pipeline, and the chance to work on substantial commercial concrete projects across Austin and Central Texas.
