Dishwasher Job Description – Rokka Grill & Whiskey Bar Rokka Grill & Whiskey Bar is looking for a dedicated and organized Dishwasher to join our kitchen team. This role is essential to keeping the restaurant running smoothly by ensuring dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment are cleaned, sanitized, and ready for service. The ideal candidate is dependable, hardworking, and comfortable working as part of a team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Strong time management, communication, and attention to cleanliness are important for success in this role. Dishwasher Responsibilities: Wash, sanitize, dry, and properly store dishes, silverware, glassware, pots, pans, and kitchen tools Ensure clean dishes and equipment are available for cooks, servers, bartenders, and other team members Restock dishware, flatware, and kitchen stations as needed Clean kitchen equipment, appliances, dish machines, and work areas Assist with unloading and storing deliveries when needed Sweep and mop floors, especially after spills or broken items Take out trash and clean trash receptacles Support kitchen and restaurant staff with additional tasks as needed Report kitchen accidents, safety concerns, or food safety violations to management Follow all food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness procedures Dishwasher Requirements: Previous dishwasher or kitchen experience preferred, but not required Strong work ethic and dependable attendance Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment Good communication and teamwork skills Strong time management and organization skills Willingness to follow food safety and sanitation procedures Ability to stand or walk for long shifts Ability to lift at least 20 lbs. as needed Availability to work mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays High school diploma or equivalent preferred About Rokka Grill & Whiskey Bar Rokka Grill & Whiskey Bar offers an elevated dining experience with quality food, craft cocktails, whiskey selections, and a polished restaurant atmosphere.
