Job Duties

• Design Tailored Treatment Approaches: Assess individual needs and create personalized therapy plans to help patients meet their functional aspirations
• Implement Effective Therapy Techniques: Apply research-supported interventions to boost patient motor function, cognitive skills, and everyday activities
• Collaborate with Multi-Disciplinary Teams: Work in close partnership with OTs, PTs, STs, healthcare providers, and nursing staff to deliver well-rounded patient care
• Guide Patients and Family Members: Educate individuals and their caregivers on therapeutic techniques to foster ongoing success in daily tasks
• Track and Record Progress: Monitor outcomes and modify treatment strategies as necessary, ensuring patients remain on the right track

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Commitment to ongoing education or additional certifications is encouraged and supported

Certifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license is required
• NBCOT certification is mandatory
