• 9th Avenue Dental Care is entering an exciting new chapter with a newly renovated office and a continued focus on building a strong, supportive team culture.
• This is a great opportunity for a Dental Assistant who wants to be part of a practice where teamwork, open communication, dependability, and growth are valued.
• Our practice provides a variety of preventive, restorative, and endodontic services, giving our team members exposure to a diverse range of patient care.
• Our patient reviews frequently recognize our team for being friendly, welcoming, professional, and attentive to patient comfort.
• The practice also incorporates modern digital diagnostic technology to support patient care and treatment planning.

What our team is looking for:

• 2+ years of chairside dental assisting experience from working in a general dentistry setting
• A Florida x-ray certificate is required
• Dependable, self-motivated, and adaptable
• Attention to detail, positive attitude, team player
• Proactive, organized, eager to learn
• Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
• Experience working in a fast-paced and customer-centric environment
• If required under the state dental practice act, dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• The position will have access to minimum PHI necessary for performing job-related functions; regular HIPAA training, aligning with the specific role and responsibilities, will be required; and the individual will need to protect PHI and maintain data safeguards.

Preferred Experience:

• Dentrix or other dental software experience
• Expanded Functions certificate
