Emergency Room RN - Topeka, KS | 13-14 Week Contract | Level 2 Trauma Center

• Hours/Week: 36
• Employment Type: Travel Contract
• Licensure/Certifications: Kansas RN license or multistate license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS, MOAB/CPI (all through AHA)
• Experience: Minimum 2 years ER experience (4+ preferred), strong ER background required
• EMR: Epic experience preferred

What You’ll Do:

• Provide high-quality emergency care to adult patients in a Level 2 trauma center
• Assess patient needs, perform diagnostic tests, and develop care plans
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure efficient patient flow
• Document patient care accurately in the Epic EMR system
• Adhere to hospital protocols, safety standards, and compliance policies
• Maintain professional communication with patients, families, and staff

What You Need:

• Valid Kansas RN license or multistate license
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS, MOAB/CPI certifications (all through AHA)
• Minimum 2 years of ER experience; 4+ years preferred
• Strong ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent clinical judgment and communication skills

About the Assignment:
Join a 34-bed Emergency Department at a level 2 trauma center that delivers critical emergency care services. The facility operates a busy ED without staffing ratios, requiring adaptable and experienced RNs to keep pace with patient needs. Black scrubs required.
