Job Overview Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is recruiting for a Director, Global Commercial Strategy, Respiratory in Horsham, PA. Location: Horsham, Pennsylvania, United States of America. Responsibilities Proactively partner with R&D and regional leaders to provide input into clinical study development, product development decisions, and labeling that supports product strategy, commercial launch strategy and lifecycle management investments Taking initiative toward innovative portfolio solutions – from clinical trial innovations to customer engagement strategies – to maximize the value of the product and total portfolio Lead or represent the commercial view through governance processes, including DAS/TA specific teams, the Development Committee and Investment Committee Influence senior pharma leadership, R&D, and regional leadership to support data generation strategies and optimal and timely investments Drive development and implementation of commercial strategy, including branding, public relations, market access strategies, and other market preparation programs Accountability for managing full product budget Develop key promotional tools and initiatives to support the growth of in‑market products in alignment with the regional teams Lead active partnerships with regional organizations to ensure launch readiness for future indications and implementation of critical lifecycle programs for in‑market product Collaborate with Medical Affairs to ensure robust publication plans and enduring/differentiating data generation Liaise with Market Access in the development of value propositions to support/bolster reimbursement and approvals globally Lead the development of pipeline forecasts and full asset valuation in collaboration with the Global Strategic Analytics team Partner with key cross‑functional team members (Analytics, Finance, Competitive Intelligence, Supply Chain, etc.) to develop differentiating value proposition and commercial forecast valuation models Ensure development of strong business cases that support the portfolio strategy Qualifications Education: A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required; an advanced degree in business or life sciences is preferred A minimum of 10 years of progressive pharmaceutical or healthcare industry experience is required Proven track record of exceptional team and cross‑functional leadership Acumen with scientific and clinical data, and ability to assimilate complex research and medical data Strong critical thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to master complexity and integrate insights into strategies Demonstrated global mindset and ability to work cross‑functionally and cross‑geographically with high‑level managers and executives Ability to manage multiple demands and priorities on time while driving decision making Strong executive verbal and written communication skills, including demonstrated presentation skills Skilled in Microsoft Office 365 (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, OneNote, Teams) Preferred: Global launch experience and demonstrated ability to work with regional partners Preferred: New product planning experience with a portfolio of assets Preferred: Respiratory disease area experience Preferred: Experience with R&D programs, managing strategic alliances, global market access and medical strategy Approximately 10-20% travel is required.
