Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeWed09:00 AM - 05:00 PMThur07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue visitor badges as directed, and maintain accurate access-control records.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entry points, and the business perimeter to help identify unauthorized access or security-related concerns.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, access-control issues, and policy violations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a guard card or applicable license is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possess CPR certification is preferred.
• Have customer service experience is preferred.
• Have alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
