What You'll Do

• Perform decontamination of surgical instruments including drills, scopes, and Da Vinci robot components
• Assemble instruments for all service lines, including trauma, loaners, and peel packaging
• Execute sterilization processes such as sterilization (sterrad and steam) and high-level disinfection (HLD) for scopes
• Maintain sterile storage area and ensure proper tracking using Censitrac system
• Liaise with OR staff to ensure timely delivery and readiness of sterile instruments
• Operate and maintain Medivator sterilization equipment (experience required)
• Support the overall sterile processing workflow in a Level One trauma center

What You Need

• Required:
  • Certification: CBSPD or CRCST (through HSPA, formerly IAHCSMM)
  • Experience with all aspects of sterile processing, including Medivator systems
  • Prior experience in busy trauma or similar high-volume hospital environments
• Preferred:
  • Familiarity with Censitrac tracking system
  • Experience working in OR liaison roles or with scopes such as Da Vinci
