Lead the Flow of Materials at ConMet — Chillicothe, OH

Picture your day starting on the manufacturing floor, reviewing production schedules, and walking the warehouse to verify that inbound receipts, pick lists, and outbound shipments are moving in sync. You’ll orchestrate material movement end-to-end — from receiving and put-away, to line-side replenishment and finished-goods shipping — so production hits its marks and customers get what they need, on time.

Your Impact

• Own daily warehouse, shipping, receiving, and material handling activities that keep production on schedule and customers satisfied.
• Guard inventory accuracy through disciplined cycle counts, organized storage locations, FIFO execution, and proven inventory control methods.
• Coordinate carriers, rates, freight, packaging, and shipping documentation — constantly seeking cost savings and efficiency gains.
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team with a relentless focus on safety, productivity, and quality.
• Partner closely with Production, Purchasing, and other functions to ensure material availability aligns with build plans.
• Champion continuous improvement to elevate safety, quality, delivery, and overall operational performance.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, EHS standards, and customer requirements while maintaining a safe workplace.

What You’ll Bring

• Associate degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience in materials, warehousing, or logistics within a manufacturing setting.
• Leadership or supervisory background preferred with proven team-building skills.
• Working knowledge of inventory control and warehouse operations; ERP experience (SAP preferred).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel.
• Ability to lead teams and perform in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
