We believe our employees are our greatest asset, we stand by our word, and we prioritize our customers above all else.Position Overview:Hour: 3:30pm - 12:00am Pay Range: $20-$22 /hour The 2nd Shift Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily production activities during the evening shift, ensuring excellence in Safety, Quality, and Production. This hands-on leadership role provides direct supervision to frontline employees while driving operational performance, labor efficiency, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced, customer-dedicated manufacturing environment.Reporting to the Production Manager, the Production Supervisor ensures production schedules are executed safely and efficiently, customer and regulatory requirements are met, and employees are held accountable to established performance and quality standards.Key Responsibilities:Operations LeadershipSupervise 2nd shift production operations to achieve safety, quality, and productivity goalsProvide direct leadership and supervision to frontline production employeesEnsure production schedules and customer requirements are executed accurately and on timeMonitor production performance, downtime, throughput, and line efficiencyCoordinate with Warehouse, Supply Chain, Maintenance, and Quality teams to minimize disruptions and maintain production flowMaintain an active presence on the production floor and address operational issues as they ariseSafety & QualityEnforce all safety, food safety, and quality programs, including GMP, AIB, and customer requirementsEnsure employees follow company policies, regulatory standards, work instructions, and customer specificationsConduct routine floor observations and address unsafe conditions or behaviorsPromote a culture where safety and quality remain the highest prioritiesTeam Leadership & DevelopmentLead, coach, and develop hourly production team membersSet clear expectations and hold employees accountable for safety, quality, attendance, productivity, and performanceSupport employee training, onboarding, performance management, and workforce developmentFoster teamwork, engagement, and continuous improvement throughout the shiftPartner with staffing agencies and management to effectively manage temporary labor and staffing levelsContinuous ImprovementParticipate in root cause analysis and corrective actions for production, quality, and safety issuesIdentify opportunities to improve productivity, reduce waste, minimize downtime, and increase line efficiencySupport Lean manufacturing initiatives and process improvement effortsEscalate recurring production issues and recommend solutions to improve performanceOperational ManagementMonitor labor utilization and production metrics to achieve established operational targetsMaintain accurate production reporting and system data, including WMS and production tracking systemsEnsure proper staffing and employee placement based on production requirementsCommunicate production status, issues, staffing needs, and priorities to managementEnsure effective shift handoff between production teamsSupport implementation of company initiatives and operational best practicesQualifications3+ years of manufacturing experience, with previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferredExperience leading frontline employees in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentFood, beverage, packaging, or consumer packaged goods manufacturing experience preferredStrong knowledge of GMP, food safety, and quality systemsAbility to manage production priorities, staffing, and labor efficiencyExperience with WMS and manufacturing systems preferredStrong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skillsBilingual (English/Spanish) preferredAbility to work 2nd shift in a manufacturing environmentWorking ConditionsNon-climate-controlled manufacturing environmentRequires standing and walking for extended periodsOccasional lifting and movement throughout the production floorAbility to work flexible hours as needed to support production demandsWhy Join Qual Pac / Pro PacEstablished, stable company with over 50 years of successOpportunity to support operations at the BuzzBallz dedicated facilityHands-on leadership role with the ability to make an immediate impactFast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environmentOpportunities to develop employees and improve operational performanceCareer growth opportunities within a growing organizationIf you are a hands-on manufacturing leader who thrives in a fast-paced production environment, enjoys developing employees, and takes pride in delivering safe, high-quality production results, we encourage you to apply.
