Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Surgical TechnologistWe are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Operating Room Surgical Technologist to join our team. This position involves working within the cardiovascular operating room, providing essential support to surgeons during procedures.ResponsibilitiesPrepare the surgical field for operations, ensuring all necessary instruments and supplies are readily available.Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and maintaining a sterile environment.Ensure the smooth flow of surgical cases by efficiently turning over OR rooms between procedures.Collaborate with medical staff to deliver high-quality patient care.QualificationsCST Certification from the National Board of Surgical Technology is required.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.Minimum of 2 years of experience in a cardiovascular operating room setting.Demonstrated expertise in cardiac surgery and thoracic procedures, with daVinci surgery experience preferred.Work ScheduleThe position requires availability for day shifts, specifically 4x10 hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM.Additional InformationExperience with electronic medical records (EMR), specifically Cerner, is preferred.
