Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide exceptional respiratory care in a dynamic healthcare environment. The successful candidate will play a vital role in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with respiratory issues. This position requires flexibility and adaptability to work across multiple locations as needed.

Responsibilities

Administer respiratory therapy treatments and evaluate patient responses.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
Monitor and assess patient progress, adjusting therapies based on medical needs.
Educate patients and their families on respiratory care and prevention strategies.
Document all procedures and patient interactions accurately in medical records.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care services.
Float to various facilities within the region as needed.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
Current RRT license from Ohio.
Certification from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and healthcare teams effectively.

Schedule

This position requires working night shifts, 3 days a week. Flexibility to cover weekends and possible floating to various locations within the region is necessary.
