Peak Performance Physical Therapy is actively seeking a passionate and skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team in Oxnard, California. This full-time position in our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center is designed for an individual who is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for our patients by restoring their mobility and functional abilities. In this role, you will work directly with patients to assess their needs, develop personalized treatment plans, and implement targeted interventions aimed at promoting recovery.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify each patient's specific mobility goals and rehabilitation needs.
• Manage a caseload of patients, seeing one individual per hour, ensuring dedicated attention to each case.
• Develop customized care plans that include a variety of therapeutic modalities and interventions aimed at restoring optimal function.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to provide effective treatments that minimize the need for medications or surgical interventions.
• Design individualized fitness and wellness programs that cater to the unique needs of each patient, incorporating strength, flexibility, and balance training.
• Maintain ongoing communication with patients to motivate them throughout their recovery process, ensuring they understand their progress and goals.
• Document all patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes utilizing EMR software, specifically WebPT, to maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to coordinate comprehensive care strategies for patients.
• Evaluate treatment effectiveness, monitor patient progress, and adjust care plans as necessary based on patient feedback and clinical outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Orthopedic Physical Therapist will primarily work with adults experiencing a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions and injuries. Our patient population includes those recovering from surgeries, sports-related injuries, and chronic pain syndromes. You will play a critical role in guiding patients from post-operative recovery through rehabilitation, ultimately helping them regain their independence and improve their quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in California.
• A clean professional record with no history of board or disciplinary actions against your license.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a solid understanding of orthopedic rehabilitation practices.
• Exceptional skills in developing and implementing individualized exercise protocols tailored to diverse patient needs.
• Experience using EMR software, with a preference for familiarity with WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve positive treatment outcomes and patient satisfaction rates.
• Experience in interdisciplinary collaboration to provide high-quality patient care.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 120,000 to 130,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
