Florence Bowser, Mack Benn, and Hillpoint Elementary School

Pay: $18.00 with benefits

Hours: Monday through Friday AM shift 6:30am-9:15am PM shift 3:30pm-6pm

Requirements:

• MUST BE 21 YEARS OF AGE and shall meet ONE of the following below

  • A graduate degree in a child related field such as elementary education, nursing, or recreation form a college or university and six months of programming experience
  • An endorsement or bachelors degree in a child related field such as elementary education, nursing or recreation form a college or university an done year of programming experience
  • 48 semester hours college credit in a child related subjects or CDA or 72 quarter hours of college credit from a college or university of which 12 semester or 18 quarter hours are in a child related subject and one year of programming experience
  • Tow years of programming experience with one year in a staff supervisory capacity and at least one year of the following education backgrounds: A one year early childhood certificate from a college or university that consists of at least 30 semester hours
  • CPR and First Aid certification required
  • Demonstrated experience in team leadership and supervision preferred
  • Ability to work in a classroom setting with regular bending and lifting (up to 25 pounds)

As an AlphaBEST Site Director , you'll lead a meaningful before and after school program that helps kids learn, grow, and thrive.

In this role, you will:

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the site: schedules, ratios, staffing, and documentation
• Oversee/facilitate curriculum implementation and ensure activities meet program expectations
• Build a safe and inclusive environment aligned with licensing requirements and AlphaBEST standards
• Make child safety the top priority at all times
• Maintain licensing compliance, documentation, and readiness for inspections
• Track and manage site resources, attendance, and food program requirements
• Supervise and mentor your site team, providing coaching and feedback, and ensuring training requirements are met
• Represent AlphaBEST with professionalism at school and community events
• Build strong relationships with families, school staff, and AlphaBEST leadership to support student success
